The responsibilities of a Production Manager are:
Coordination of plant staff under my charge across 3 shifts.
Production planning based on commercial demands together with Gemma Parramón (commercial director responsible for the plant).
Calculation of production costs for commercial demands.
Selection of raw materials and processing with the warehouse for their transfer to the plant.
Solving different problems that arise with plant productions and machinery, together with plant staff and maintenance.
Registration of manufacturing orders for plant products.
Analysis of production costs and production yields as well as solving incidents detected by our QC regarding final products to achieve desired quality standards.
Management and processing of finished material for transfer to our warehouses.
Management of samples to QC.
Development of new products that may have commercial interest.
Development of taylor mades.
Coordination and planning with R&D-Biotechnology of bionat productions as well as participation in the development of new bionats.
Supervision of compliance with preventive maintenance, cleaning and order in the plant, as well as the PNTs of the different products.

What I most highlight about Ventós as a differential level with other companies is:
The large quantity of aromatic chemical products it works with for the perfume/cosmetic and food industry.
The companies represented by Ventos such as BASF, Firmenich or IFF that manufacture high-quality and cutting-edge products.
The great development of international subsidiaries that makes delivery times short and customer communication more fluid.
At the level of Ventós Barcelona, its different departments with highly experienced staff allow us to work very efficiently and customer-oriented. I highlight our main warehouse that prepares different orders efficiently every day, our quality control with extensive experience, our sales team always seeking 100% customer satisfaction, our regulatory department always adapting products to new regulations, our IT team that has developed custom software for Ventós needs, our purchasing team, administration, accounting and HR, also with extensive experience.
At the level of my department, I think it was a good decision around 2005 to create a production plant committed to natural products. This allows us to have more extensive knowledge of natural products and essential oils, be closer to different perfumers to satisfy their concerns about different ingredients and present new products developed in-plant at trade fairs that substantially improve what already exists on the market. I also think it was a good decision to have created departments such as R&D-Biotechnology for the development of next-generation natural ingredients, as well as the V-Fl department focused on creating ingredients for fragrances.

What I like most about my work is being able to work with so many ingredients that transmit smell, color, memories, sensations, and dreams.
When we develop a new ingredient that provides distinctive and innovative notes, it gives me enormous satisfaction.
In the end, I've made Ventós a way of life. After all, what we are in life is what we love, not what loves us…

It is very difficult to choose an ingredient among such a wonderful diversity of ingredients that we have in our stock.
Among the natural ones, I love our patchouli coeur with that characteristic smell of wet earth on rainy days, I love the smell of Iris, its ironas transmit a feeling of well-being and peace to me. Our concentrated Spain lemon 5x is also wonderful, the ability to make you salivate.
As for synthetics, I love our Gamma methyl ionone 95, amber Xtreme or timbersilk.

The scent of cedar transports me to my colored pencils when I was a child, citrus fruits like lemon, mandarin or orange essential oil or sweet aromas like vanillin, ethyl maltol transport me to the ice creams I ate as a child.
Some bionat esters that we manufacture at the plant also transport me to gummy bears when I was a child.
The scent of bergamot transports me to the first colognes I wore as a child.

Me gusta mucho visitar capitales y ciudades con edificios históricos bonitos.

Throughout the years of my life I have been transforming and evolving musically, but I have always had quite particular tastes.
In recent years, I feel genuine devotion for emotional pop with quite baritone singers.
My favorite band currently is The National, I love Matt Berninger's voice. I also really like Mishima, I love David Carabén and I currently listen a lot to a band called Fontaines DC and the last two albums recorded by Leonard Cohen are wonderful.

I really enjoy playing padel once or twice a week. I've also become fond of playing chess lately.
