Sant Joan de Déu

Every month, the company and its employees collaborate with Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in the fight against one of society’s greatest challenges: childhood cancer.

Solar park

At Ventós, we are committed to renewable energy, and that's why 100% of the energy we use is green. With the expansion of our solar park, we are now moving closer to energy self-sufficiency. Because we only get one planet.

Clean water

We have installed a rainwater collection system that will allow us to collect more than 4.400 liters for maintenance activities, irrigation, and other permitted uses.

África Digna

Our collaboration with AFRICA DIGNA helps to improve the lives of people across the African continent.

IQS Scholarships

In partnership with IQS at the University of Barcelona, Ventós has chosen to invest in the future by awarding two scholarships to provide access to more professional education.

Selvans

The VENTÓS forest can absorb around 150 tons of CO₂ per year. Our current carbon footprint is less than this amount.

Càritas Catalunya

Thanks to CÀRITAS CATALUNYA, families affected by COVID-19 can be guaranteed a home and basic food supplies.

Dona i Empresa

Ventós collaborates with Dona i Empresa to achieve gender equality and women's empowerment.

Sports collaborations

We collaborate with various sports organizations to promote sport among young people and adults.

CO₂ reduction

At Ventós, we are very aware of the impact the company has on the planet and we are working to reduce and offset our CO₂ emissions

Viu els Ports

We sponsor a huge number of our most valuable partners: bees. Viu els Ports works to relocate them to areas that are being reforested.

Inspire o Bem

We work with Inspire o Bem to provide humanitarian aid so that the most disadvantaged families can feed themselves with dignity.

Ventós collaborates with the Sant Just kart race, with the aim of promoting sport and local culture.

Introducing MAP species as extensive crops

PAMinCAT Project

The "PAMinCAT" Project aims to assess the viability of introducing certain MAP species as extensive crops in Catalonia’s existing agricultural systems. Several species have therefore been selected and cultivated in three regions with different water regimes and edaphoclimatic conditions. Over the course of two years, the biomass and final commercial product yield will be evaluated, along with its quality. Market potential and distribution channels will also be studied.

The role of Ventós is to assess the quality of the essential oils obtained and provide guidance on real market demand.

This project is co-financed in collaboration with ACCIÓ under the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Operational Programme for Catalonia 2014–2020
