I started working at Ernesto Ventós 10 years ago, practically when I finished university. My first steps were as a salesman serving the Spanish market and I remember I was eager to learn the names of the company's large product portfolio. It has been 10 years of great growth and learning and I feel that every day I continue learning new things. It is a fascinating industry.

My daily work at Ventós consists of supervising the management of the North American region where we have two operating subsidiaries (Mexico and USA), with the objective of strengthening the company's position as a distributor and thus guaranteeing a stable supply of aromatic chemicals and essential oils throughout the region.

The ability to be a global company with subsidiaries spread throughout the world, and at the same time, maintain local impact through effective and quality service thanks to the extensive inventories we have around the world. This allows us to be a "one stop shop" that offers solutions to our clients in a fast and reliable manner.

We live in a globalized and interconnected world, and what happens today in any part of the world can affect other points on the planet within just a few hours. This makes maintaining a constant and reliable supply of our raw materials a challenge and requires us to always try to stay one step ahead. I enjoy being part of such a dynamic industry, and of course, the direct contact I can have with our customers and suppliers on a daily basis.

I like the fresh and spicy touch that Cardamom brings to it.

I used to spend much of my vacation in a small village in the Catalan Pyrenees and I remember the smoky, woody notes of fire on earth in winter and the notes of wet earth and fresh grass from the late summer rains.

Any destination surrounded by the people I love, but if I can choose, a quiet beach with white sand and the sound of ocean waves in the background.

Of course my family and all the good friends I have kept despite being away from my native country for years.

Always be honest in business. The small details matter.

I listen to all kinds of music depending on the moment, but a good live Jazz session combined with a good dinner and a good cocktail is something fantastic.

I try to travel as much as I can to discover other parts of the world, explore new cultures and live enriching experiences.
