Our main production plant and offices (HQ) are in Sant Just Desvern (Barcelona). Ventós presence is worldwide: Ventós Brazil, Ventós China, Ventós Colombia, Ventós Grasse, Ventós Mexico, Ventós Singapore, Ventós USA and Ventós Indonesia. We are looking to strengthen our team in Ventós Barcelona by adding a Quality Control Technician.
Responsabilidades
- Perform quality control analysis on essential oils and aroma chemicals
- Carry out chemical tests according to internal specifications and industry standars
- Conduct organoleptic evaluations (taste and smell analysis)
- Operate and interpret results using GC-FID and GC-MS instruments
- Participate in the development, validation, and maintenance of analytical methods for gas chromatography
- Collaborate with the Regulatory Affairs teams to ensure product traceability and compliance
- Prepare reports, certificates, and documentation related to quality control
- Support the implementation of continuous improvement processes within the QA department

Perfil

- Degree in Chemistry or related scientific field
- Desirable: Master’s degree or proven expertise in Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry
- Expertise in the Flavour and Fragance industry is a strong asset
- Familiarity with quality standards and analytical protocols in the chemical or cosmetics sector is valued
- Solid knowledge of organic and analytical chemistry
- Experience or interest in natural substances, chemical synthesis, and analytical method development
- High level of English is a must
- Attention to detail, problem-solving mindset, and ability to work independently
- Team spirit, flexibility and proactive attitude
