Ventós is an international company specialized in the distribution and production of Essential Oils and Aroma Chemicals for the Flavors & Fragrances industry. To continue supporting our expansion in the region, we are currently looking for a Purchasing Assistant to join our team in Shanghai.

- Liaise and follow up with suppliers: assist in price negotiation, confirmation of PO, request and follow up of samples and all documentation related to approval, confirm delivery dates, complaints, customer service etc...
- Keep track of all the information in the ERP system: Enter purchasing offers, purchase orders, update planned reception dates, create and update suppliers information, input samples etc...
- Assist & Support the Purchasing Manager as part of the Global Purchasing team of Ventos Group in Sales & Marketing concerns in order to include Planning forecast, research, sales analysis etc...
- Work closely with Sales and Purchasing departments of the Head Quarters.
- Coordinate with different departments as Quality Control, Operations and Export to optimize the purchasing process.

- Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Purchasing Assistant or in a similar purchasing/supply chain role.
- Experience in B2B environments will be highly valued.
- Experience in Chemical, Flavors & Fragrances or related industries will be considered a strong plus.
- High level of English (spoken and written).
- Knowledge of import/export processes is desirable.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
- Proactive, reliable and detail-oriented personality.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and in an international environment.
- Own vehicle and preferably based near Jiading area.
